Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions? We’re here to help. Below are some of the most common inquiries we receive about our services, process, and materials.
1. What types of materials do you fabricate and install?
We specialize in natural and engineered stone, including granite, quartz, marble, quartzite, and porcelain. We also work with a range of tile and custom cabinetry finishes.
2. Do you handle both residential and commercial projects?
Yes. We work with homeowners, contractors, designers, and developers on both residential and commercial jobs, from kitchens and bathrooms to retail and hospitality spaces.
3. Is fabrication done in-house?
Absolutely. All fabrication is done in our San Jose facility using state-of-the-art CNC machines and Slabsmith software for precise layout visualization and quality control.
4. Can I visit your shop or showroom?
Yes. Clients are welcome to visit our showroom and fabrication shop. You can view materials, inspect slabs, and even see your layout rendered via Slabsmith.
5. How long does the installation process take?
Once the layout is approved, installation typically takes place within 5–7 business days. Cabinetry installations may take longer depending on the scope and production time.
6. Do you offer warranties on your work?
Yes, we stand behind our craftsmanship with service warranties, something not commonly offered in the industry. Specific warranty details can be discussed during consultation.
7. What areas do you serve?
We serve the greater Bay Area, including San Jose, Palo Alto, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Menlo Park, Hillsborough, Danville, and other high-end communities across five counties.
8. Can I provide my own materials?
In most cases, we recommend selecting materials through us to ensure quality and compatibility. However, we’re happy to evaluate customer-provided materials on a case-by-case basis.
9. Do you offer 3D renderings or layout previews?
Yes. We use Slabsmith for stone layout previews and 2020 Design software for custom cabinetry renderings, helping clients visualize the final result before fabrication begins.
